This exhibition is my first solo show, showcasing my fascination with the overlooked details of urban streets—weathered surfaces, layered paint, and temporal traces. My works are categorized into three levels: slight coverage with gray tones overlaying vibrant colors; moderate coverage preserving visible traces; and heavy coverage that conceals recognizable elements, focusing on texture and color interplay.

My oil paintings go beyond abstract representations; they reflect my personal urban experiences. Inspired by music and city life, I blend lines and color blocks, creating a distinctive aesthetic. My layering technique retains underlying textures, allowing the surfaces to breathe and dynamically interact, mirroring the city’s continual evolution.

"Gary days, orange ways" invites viewers to reconsider the often-ignored aesthetics of their environment—how walls bear time’s marks, how colors fluctuate with light, and how urban landscapes resonate within our memories. This exhibition encourages the discovery of hidden beauty in everyday life.
